The initiative empowers startups to grow through innovation and design.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">About Startup India<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The objectives of the Startup India Movement are to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Build enhanced infrastructure, including incubation centers<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Facilitate IPR, including easier patent filing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Create a better regulatory environment, including tax benefits, easier compliance, improved company setup, and faster mechanisms<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Increase funding opportunities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide a vast networking database for entrepreneurs and other stakeholders in the startup ecosystem<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Incorporation Process<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To avail of the DPIIT Certificate of Recognition, a startup must meet the following eligibility criteria:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Period of Existence of Entity: The period of existence and operations of the company should not exceed 10 years from the date of formation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Type of Entity: The DPIIT Certificate of Recognition is provided for companies incorporated as a Private Limited Company, a Limited Liability Partnership (LLP), or a Registered Partnership Firm.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Annual Turnover: The firm should have an annual turnover of Rs. 100 crore for any of the fiscal years since its federation to get the DPIIT Certificate of Recognition.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Original Entity: The company should not have been incorporated by splitting up or recreating an already existing entity to avail of the DPIIT Certificate of Recognition.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Innovative &amp; Scalable Entity: The entity should be working towards the development or improvement of a product, process, or service. The firm should have a scalable business model with a high potential for the creation of wealth and employment. The firm should have the potential to generate employment or create wealth.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Documentation and Other Considerations<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To register a startup in India, the following documents are required:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Certificate of Incorporation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>PAN Card of the Company<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bank Account Statement<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Board Resolution for Authorized Signatory<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Incorporation Certificate<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Address Proof of the Registered Office<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Business Plan<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pitch Deck<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In conclusion, the Startup India initiative aims to create a supportive ecosystem for startups to thrive in India.
